Type HN Series Connectors

The 3/4-20 threaded interface of the HN connectors provides a secure mating, preventing accidental disconnection from pulling forces on the cable and vibration.

HN series are medium-size RF connectors designed for high voltage applications in extreme environments, capable of achieving up to 1,500 Vrms, and with up to 5,000 Vdc peak. HN is standardized under MIL-DTL-3643B and many versions are compliant with MIL-C-39012. Although these connectors are built to operate up to 10 GHz, the optimum performance range is up to 4GHz. These connectors were designed by the US Navy in the late 1940s.
