Type F Series Connectors
Standard coaxial cable connector for 75 Ohm TV antennas, set-top boxes to TVs, VCRs, DVDs, modems and other devices. F connectors are typically used with NTSC, HD/SDI, 4K and other video TV signals. Universally identified by its threaded socket and threaded or unthreaded plus, these connectors come in a wide variety of designs. F connectors may use the conductor of the cable as the mating interface for general purpose applications or use a separate precision contact rated to up to 4GHz. Construction types include both crimp and compression designs.
The Type F is a nominal 75 ohm connector suitable for a wide range of coaxial cable within 0.022 to 0.042 in. diameter, and has a 3/8-32 mating thread.
