Active Devices-Media Converters
These devices convert fiber to copper, and are available for a wide range of signal types including HD-SDI, Audio, and Data. Standard models convert a SMPTE HD signal on 1 single mode fiber to a single BNC, using either a wall mounted power supply or battery power. Other versions are available for audio, SDI video and data, either in field boxes or rack mount configurations. We can custom design a reeler or field box to accommodate any required combination of signal types. Our CAVU-8 is the latest generation of camera back HD fiber converter, and includes 3 HD channels plus full camera control, audio, and tally.
