NIM/CAMAC High-Energy Physics

Nemal is a leader in the manufacture of NIM-CAMAC cables, adapters and assemblies for use in high energy physics and research applications. Having worked with scientists at Los Alamos, Sandia National Labs, Brookhaven, Jefferson Labs, UCLA and many others, our engineers understand the stringent demands of the research environment.

For a major national research experiment involving the nature of quark particles, researchers chose Nemal to engineer and manufacture a massive array of coaxial cables with specific impedance, precise electrical length and low attenuation to a tolerance never previously achieved in that type of application. These coaxial cables provided the exact nanosecond delay required to perform initial evaluation on the billions of data points generated by the accelerator.

HIGH ENERGY PHYSICS/NIM-CAMAC

Nemal is a leader in the manufacture of NIM-CAMAC cables, adapters and assemblies for use in high energy physics and research applications. We stock a large inventory of our own manufactured components including SHV, MHV, LC, and HN Type connectors and adapters, as well as LEMO miniature connectors. We offer equivalents for many of the legacy Kings K-Loc® products common in NIM-CAMAC applications. Typical cables include RG174, RG58, RG59 (available with red jacket), and RG316. Our cables have been an integral part of nuclear research at leading institutions throughout the US including Los Alamos, Sandia National Labs, Brookhaven, Jefferson Labs, UCLA, and many others. Our product line includes a wide range of cable assemblies and delay lines in standard and custom lengths. We also provide multiple (snake) cables as well as custom marking and labeling.
