With a bending radius of less than 1 inch, FOCC25T can tolerate repeated tight bends, knots, and pulls without any impact on performance.

In fact, you can make a direct 180-degree bend and not lose signal. As a result of redesigning the central strength member, FOCC25T is not susceptible to the kinking issues of standard SMPTE cables. This also eliminates a major cause of shortened cable service life as it is not possible to repair cables after damage to the central strength member.

LONG DISTANCES AT AMPLE BANDWIDTH

The Tactical SMPTE cable 2 tactical single-mode fibers and 4 copper conductors provides more than ample bandwidth capability and minimal attenuation (0.5db per km) for seamless transmission of 3G/HD/UHD and 12K video signals over distances well in excess of 1 km.

This makes it ideal for use not only in SMPTE camera applications, but also in a wide range of applications requiring fiber plus copper.

The cable’s electrical conductors will easily support typical camera power on runs of up to 2,000 feet (600 meters) or more, depending on specific camera power requirements. The new FOCC25T cable features extremely rugged tactical fiber, a proprietary flexible strength member, and an extra durable polyurethane jacket.

By reducing the diameter 9%, users can fit longer lengths on standard reelers with adequate headroom. The 15% weight reduction, as compared to standard 9mm SMPTE cable.

This offers a substantial advantage when used in weight limited vehicles, allowing for more practical storing and transporting, as well as providing ease of movement to the personnel moving the equipment through rugged locations.
