NEMAL INTRODUCES NEW SMPTE FIBER HDTV INTERCONNECT PANEL
At NAB 2012, Nemal had on display for the first time in the US the new FOPA SMPTE Fiber Interconnect Panel series. The latest model features a high density (12 positions in 2 rack units) 45-degree modular design. Available interfaces include SMPTE standard male or female as well as Neutrik OpticalCon connectors. Nemal's family of HD SMPTE fiber panels includes both modular as well as fully enclosed units in 1 or 2 rack unit configurations. Standard rear interface features ST connectors with options for FC, LC, SC, and APC versions. Other models feature mid-plane or rear-plane breakouts to discrete fiber optic connectors and circular multi-pin connectors for the copper members.
